AMADEO is a modular sound distribution, warning and evacuation system designed to provide sound distribution and warnings for manufacturing facilities and in areas surrounding such facilities, for administrative buildings as well as for other businesses, cultural centres and open spaces. Due to its potential scalability it is convenient for both simpler applications and extensive hierarchical systems. It enables the combination of various warning, notification, sound distribution, evacuation and monitoring systems using different control and communication methods and technologies.

It provides indoor and outdoor broadcasting of both common announcements and warning signals (warning announcements and signals recorded in internal memory) on the basis of the following:

• Direct input from a microphone;
• Instructions from the supervisory computer via Vektra control software;
• Automatically reactions to external signals – data from various sensors, buttons;
• Information from third party monitoring and control systems – SCADA systems, EZS, EPS etc.;
• Information from computer IP networks;
• Direct inputs from other communication systems– mobile phones, fixed phone lines, radio stations, VHF radio, satellite communication systems, etc.

It is further capable of controlling different technical equipment such as:

• Optical signalling and warning devices (different beacons, traffic lights...);
• Display panels;
• Barriers and gates;
• Traffic lights etc.

The system meets the requirements of the STN EN 60849 standard for acoustic systems and its standard version comes equipped with a battery back-up.
