The SEHIS is a complex system designed to warn and notify people in , which is based on technologies of a national warning system solution developed by the Telegrafia a.s. Company. There are over 2,000 sirens included in this system (of that 900 are the latest PAVIAN electronic sirens gradually replacing the obsolete motor-driven ones) that are controlled from 30 warning centres.
The high quality and technological level of the solution is proved by the words of Mr. Ján Repa, Ing, Director of the Office of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Interior of the SR:
“This system has fully proved itself. It is a complex, modern system indeed providing us with all the required functions. Its success is also proved by the fact that it has been gradually applied not only in the but also in the neighbouring countries.”
