The Gabčíkovo Dam is the biggest hydroelectric dam in  covering 8% of the total power consumption of the country. Moreover, it controls the  level and prevents flood in the area.

This dam has got an autonomous local early-warning and notification system established, the goal of which is to inform (notify) both those in charge and the population on any imminent high water-level threat.

The system is fully automated and it is based on technologies of our company’s water dam failure early-warning solution. The system is connected to the national warning system of the Slovak Republic.
