- If the status of individual siren modules must be known – automatic siren testing;
- If silent siren tests are required so as to not disturb citizens;
- If full operational status is necessary in connection with actual siren activation - as achieved via automatic notification to those in charge (e.g. in the case of a failure, unauthorized siren inputs, etc.)

- If the siren is used separately as an autonomous device (e.g. application at stadiums, in small industrial operations, etc.);
- If simple, button-based local control is sufficient;
- If it is not crucial to know siren status or to be notified of a failure immediately as it occurs;
- If it is possible to carry out loud siren tests as required;
- If it is not necessary to be immediately informed regarding the occurrence of a particular event (unauthorized siren input, unauthorized activation, failure occurrence, etc.);
