These days recordings of all the voice communication, i.e. phone, radio, electronic communication and everyday conversations have become a standard request from warning and notification centres and other dispatching centres’ administrators. It is connected to the ability to perform analysis of the emergency activity procedure in the future. MEMO equipment, capable of recording phone and radio communication and subsequent analysis, has been developed for this purpose. It is modular equipment system consisting of hardware, i.e. a personal computer equipped with the WINDOWS operating system and enhanced with special-purpose interface modules, and the VEKTRA Vyrozumenie software. Interface modules are designed to interconnect the computer and equipment where communication is to be recorded. Their specific quantities and types depend on the quantities and types of devices to be connected. The time-stamped communication is recorded in digital format and saved in the memory. The equipment can play back and analyse the recorded communication in order to verify the correctness of the emergency procedures or to optimize such procedures.
